Keeper Homelab is operated by Ron Heft. It is a self-hosted deployment of Keeper, an open-source calendar synchronization application. It is independent of the commercial keeper.sh service; that service does not operate this deployment.
What it does
An authorized user connects calendar accounts, chooses source and destination calendars, and controls the synchronization settings. Keeper can read source events and create, update, or delete synchronized copies in selected destination calendars. Event titles, descriptions, locations, and times may be copied according to those settings.
Why Google access is requested
Google Calendar access lets Keeper list available calendars, read events, and maintain synchronized events. Keeper requests an event-management permission even when a connected calendar is initially used only as a source. Google account identity information identifies the connected account; Google sign-in, when used, also supplies basic profile information.
Authorization tokens allow synchronization to continue without signing in on every run. Google notifications tell Keeper that a watched calendar has changed, after which Keeper fetches data through the authorized API.
Read the Keeper and Google section of the privacy policy for storage, sharing, and deletion details. The shared terms of use also apply.
Access and control
The Keeper application requires authorized access. This public page does not offer open registration. You can disconnect an account in Keeper and revoke Google access. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not itself erase existing copies or backups.
